Will Haynes King Be A Heisman Candidate Next Year?

I don’t think he will be in the pre-season watch list because his stats this year were suppressed due to injury.

He will need the following to be considered by the end of the year:
- Tech with at least a 9-3 record
- 3,000+ yards passing
- Close to 1,000 yards rushing
- 40+ total touchdowns

I think these stats are doable based on what he put up last year, and how he was so much better this year while he was healthy.

Since we are on the subject of Haynes King, do any of you insiders know if he is having any kind of shoulder procedure now that the regular season is over?

Calling me an outsider, with respect to GT football, would be an understatement, but I'd be surprised based on the way he was throwing against Central Athens Elementary.

I dont see Haynes King being in the Heisman mix.

He will have a great year, and fit into our schemes, but I doubt he will get enough passing yards to be competitive for the Heisman

Just saw I reposted this from Transfer portal thread..... But yes it does seem like speculation

Stats may seem to be the rule for Heisman, but it's far more than just stats. Hamilton and Lotheridge had the stats, but each came in second.
