Will he go? Will he stay?

At this point in time I, probably like many of you, are ready for an answer. Whatever the answer will be, let's just get it overwith.

It is evident by the posters here that there are supporters and dissenters when it comes to the decision of going or staying. And to be honest with you, every last one of us has the right to feel how we do and share the opinion we have concerning our coaching situation.

Will recruiting suffer? Who will the next coach of GT be? What will happen to the current coaching staff? These and many other questions are on all our minds. Let's just get an answer and move forward.

My opinion:

1.) Going or staying? -- I think it is no secret that I would like to see a change. It took me three to four years to make up my mind concerning CG. I supported CG and his decisions for a long time, but came to the conclusion that he is not the man to lead our proud and storied football program.

2.) Staffing concerns? -- IMO there are several coaches we need to keep around JT and the recruiting staff.

3.) Replacements? -- Living near Gainesville and having a spouse who is a BIG Gator fan I HAVE to watch more Gator football than I deserve. This past year I saw 2 strong coordinators who led UF to the National Championship in Charlie Strong and Dan Mullen. I would take either of those, but my number one choice is Jimbo Fisher.

Decisions, decisions......let's just make them and move on.

One sidenote, not that it matters, IF, CG stays, then the following statement needs to be made IMO: "Chan you either kick the Leg Humpers ASS this year or hit the road!"

RM2,

That's just about as eloquently phrased as it could possibly be.

Yes, I still am confident this next year would be the year for CCG's paying off what he has been building up to and yes, I still am a fan of his......BUT!!!, I have to agree with your final statement totally.

The time has come to either get it done or get it gone when it comes to that other school over yonder.

That requirement should have been made 2 years ago.

Too late now.

I understand and respect your opinion Tex, BUT it is never to late. I, like you and many others, are tired of losing to those leg humpers.

I like the statement, "that other school over yonder." I think that should be the official name from this point forward for that school. Piss on 'em I say.
