#24 OG in the country. Had offers from WVU, Ole Miss, Wake, and Vandy.

Biography:As a junior, Jackson earned First-Team All-State, All-County, All-Region, All-City and All-East Tennessee honors at Farragut. He was also named as the top pre-season offensive lineman by the Knoxville News Sentinel

First of all...the players we will be recruiting for offense are to fit a system and will not fit the system of others...so offer lists are likely to be different. We need strong, smart, and quick OL's that can fire forward off the ball every snap...and are typically on the smaller side for OL's. We do not need the prototype pass protect OT's for instance.

Also...as I have said before...study video for yourself (have you done that?)...do not just go by offers...that is just one indicator. Jackson's video is impressive.

another point since you like offers as the primary indicator...he had more offers than West Virginia (perennial top 10 team), Wake Forst, Vanderbilt, and Stanford. Those were just his top schools as he wants to be pre-med. He eliminated Louisville, NC State, and Kentucky much earlier in the process for instance...but had offers from them. To top it off...it is still early with signing day 8 months away...more would have come.

lastly and most importantly....he was on our coaches Top 5 OL's to get list...and they know a heck of a lot more than any of us!

also, to note. He may project as guard in a normal offense...but PJ doesn't use mammouth tackles....so he could be an option for tackle for us. Typically in our offense you will see BIG GCG combos with tackles that are more agile and could be shorter and smaller than the G's.

So i don't know either way what PJ has in mind for him...just saying our OL projections aren't going to be the same as traditional Os.
 
I'm constantly amazed at the attitude of the average TECH fan. I was totally giving Will Jackson props and the responses were not only not required but took on a failing grade. I love you guys. You don't monkey around with TECH!

(again, my opine is that Jackson is a stud and I like him. not that you care or anything).
