He hasnt practiced any this week. He has two hurt ankles. Which isnt good at all. If we dont have him or if he was in the same condition as he was against UNC then we are going to be in big trouble come next thursday night.

In my opinion, Jaybo looked really well against UNC save the fumble. I'd beg most all of the Jaybo-related problems on the offensive line so far. I think the injuries there should be of greater concern. If it comes down to him being 60%, I'd say we rest him for UGA.

Well, yesterday was their first practice back since the game and CPJ said in his radio show that Nesbitt isn't running full speed but he's also not limping or anything so I'm sure he got some non-contact practice in today. Technically, our guys have more time to heal than we had for last week.

My thing about Jaybo is that he doesn't have great pocket awareness yet and he seems to zero in on a single WR (Bay-Bay mostly) as the ball is being snapped. Even going back to the MSU and Duke games, some of his passes were just throwing it up there (sometimes while getting hit) and letting Demaryius make the plays.

Jaybo doesn't have the arm strength he needs if the OL fails to produce. He can run the offense, but he cannot pass against a very good, fast secondary with no time to set, step and throw,

2 pass plays and jaybo was sacked twice. He has no pocket awareness and stares down #8.

Couple of things

1) Jaybo is a great backup for us and will play meaningful snaps as he career progresses
2) He is only a true freshman
3) The only game he looked bad in was FSU and he admittedly said he played like a freshman by not letting the first play go when our line let someone slam through full speed as Jaybo turned his back to pitch it. I do not think we should hold 1.5 quarters of bad play in one game against him.
4) Fact....he is extremely quick to the edge on the option and has had an exceelent pass efficiency rating prior to FSU.
5) Josh is the starter right now...so lets quit the comparisons already...there is no open competition.
