Georgia has a whopping 14 verbal commitments from what appears to be very good football players. As I was looking at this list, posted below, I noticed that nearly half of the recruits (6):wow: are from out of the state of Georgia. Many more of the Bulldogs targets are non-Georgian. That really surprised me & got the thinking cap on.
Does this help Ga Tech in recruiting the state of Georgia
? The Yellow Jackets have 3 oral commits, 2 of which are from Georgia. The Jackets certainly did very, very well in Georgia last yr. If The Dogs aren't after many Georgians, does this open doors this yr, or next, to getting into the living rooms of more Georgia players? The thought is certainly tantalizing:D.
Tech's coaches were after a coupla of the Dogs' outside Georgia commitments, as well, & this may lessen the non-Georgians the Tech staff gets commits from. Does this balance out or does it really help, as u would think it would, to get into more Georgia areas than ever before?
