Disagree, somewhat. He's their quarterback of the future. So it doesn't look to me like they're trying desperately to save this season, it looks like they're giving up on this season to build for the future. Of course since Bowden may not be a part of that future you could be right about the desperation.

Don't know if that was a joke or not. If so, it's pretty funny.

But, I think he is kind of like Tyrod Taylor. He's got good running skills from what I remember from when he was recruited.

If this really is a "giving up on this season, planning for the future" move, that's really crappy of the coach. Harper has been a good QB for them - he is definitely not the problem...
 
Out of high school, Willy Korn was 6-2, 200...reported a 4.55 forty.
At a combine, he had a 32" vertical and clocked a 4.62 forty time.

At the bottom of this article talking about possibility of Korn getting more snaps is this comment:

It's going to take 3 seconds for ANYBODY to pass or run..
.for TEN YEARS TB has neglected O-Line development...Even TB knows that to put Korn in would only make matters worse and get ANOTHER quarterback HURT.

There are going to be more injuries because the O-Line doesn't know one another. We'll have yet another O-Line for GT.
If we put Harper, Korn AND Whitehurst in at QB, they wouldn't be able to do anything.
TB can't fire Spence- - - he has a contract- - - and TB CAN'T run an offense any better than BS- - - - TB's already run off Mike O'Cain that bailed him out after the last WF disaster
TB won't hire anyone who threatens His job- - - Mike O'Cain just snuck up on him

That's not what I was asking. Tyrod is a mobile QB, so are Tebow and Colt McCoy. Skin color is not the issue, running ability is.

Cullen Harper is not very mobile. I don't want to see a more mobile QB on Saturday.
 
He is supposed to be more mobile than Harper. His write up from Scout in HS said he liked to get outside of the pocket.
 
Since he will be on his back looking at the stars most of Saturday evening I don't think his eye's will be his biggest problem.

Bowden is totally throwing this guy to the wolves with the OL they have against our DL. I almost feel bad for the guy.

Stars at noon? I wish it was a night game... or are you referring to the cartoon-like stars he'll see from being demolished by our D-line?
