**Concept:**

n objects can be arranged in r places keeping all the places filled, then the number of ways the arrangements can be done

= n × (n - 1) × (n - 2)... (r times)

**Calculation:**

Since there are 6 rings and 4 fingers

Then 1^{st} finger can have any 6 rings, hence 6 ways

2^{nd} finger can have the remaining 5 rings, hence 5 ways

3^{rd} finger can have the remaining 4 rings, hence 4 ways

4^{th} finger can have the remaining 3 rings, hence 3 ways

So, the total number of ways = 6 × 5 × 4 × 3

= 360
