SEC has SEC Speed, apparently ACC has world class speed. First the many mentions to Ford and Spiller having it, now apparently Miami has it too.

Didn't they also say Notre Dame has "independent" speed or something like that?

During the USCe-UGA game, I swear I heard the announcer say something to the effect of, "There are a lot of SEC-type players on the field." Uh, no kidding.

it seems like for college espn uses "(insert work here) speed" - and for pro its "trickeration". I wonder if in their morning meetings they lay out how many times they should make reference to these... I for one think the announcers sound like idoits filling the air time with "literary SPEED" and verbal trickerations.

In college football ESPN is obsessed with SEC. In pro football ESPN is even more obsessed with Tom Brady. That win by the Pats the other night was typical Pats. And I think all the ESPN announcers had to change their pants from their excitement.

That's what I was thinking of. I had to rewind it on DVR, and I still thought that I may have misunderstood what he said.
