"There's a culture and a standard that I was attracted to," Raiola told ESPN. "The more time that went by, the stronger I felt about Georgia and ultimately led to this decision."

I picked up on that "culture" BS too. I guess he likes knowing he can get drunk and kill somebody and the school administration won't care. SHEESH

Hotter recruiting assistants.

Kirby had a great ceiling but Athens is still Athens. Eventually, everything comes back to earth. I suspect Kirby’s arc rhymes with Urban Meyer’s… win at all costs, no matter the destruction left in your wake. Good for a couple great years and then everything falls apart.

Wasn't it just a few years ago that a QB went the other way (exactly) because UGAG is so racist?

Culture? Drunk player dies in drunken driving accident while being driven by a drunken employee of the athletic association who also dies in the drunken crash which took place while racing a player who, while it can't be proven was drunk, probably was and was also driving on a suspended license. Both drunken drivers had a history of reckless driving and multiple offenses ignored by authorities because UGAg coddles its lawbreakers.....whew ..

Wait....I think I figured it out. The culture he seeks is "lawlessness protected in Clarke County"

Can we sign up for back-to-back championships then coming back down to earth?

might be more fun than maintaining a steady 6 ft off the ground

Haha.

That "culture" being that he doesn't have to actually "go to college" in the classic sense.

According to my Dwag Uncle, his NIL deal isn't really that big, at least some of the absurd numbers thrown about like $7/$8 million. His family js very wealthy from his dad's NFL days. I texted him when Raiola committed asking "how much?"....Of course he could be make öööö up.

Some of those guys are gonna portal out that they have now in the QB room. Kirby has also shown no evidence he knows how to utilize a 5 star talent at QB. It's like a shiny toy he's scared to play with and would rather rely on old faithful. Granted old faithful was a 25 yr old, non-graduate who has 2 natties......I really don't like them.
