& maybe even the country. These guys are not only very good, but very experienced.
Sr MLB Smith is right there with the best inside LBs anywhere. 4th yr starter that has done great honor to GT. Super good player.
Sr OLB Fox ought to have his best yr @ Tech & could have a monster yr. 4th yr starter & best player on D. Outstanding for GT.
rSr Brown would be a 4th yr starter, but Fox beat him out halfway through their Fr yrs. Has also started @ MLB when Smith hurt his elbow & in place of Fox, due to minor injury. Brown has another shot to impress the pros & will have his best yr. Only a step behind Fox.
Now the problems come; no depth! Will Jr Anyansi step up to ready himself for his Sr yr? Will rSo Bowers-Wilkerson continue to improve & push Brown?
Losing rSr Lawston, rJr Green & rFr McNair has decimated the linebacking corps' depth. Several true Freshmen could earn playing time if they come in Aug ready to play div1a.
In fact, if u want early playing time the big name HS LBs ought to come to GT by the busload. What an opportunity in the next 1,2,3 yrs!

Super point on Ather, Daryl and Key. You'll have to drag these guys kicking and screaming out of a game. Word - we be looking pretty good there right now.

With the "underrated" incoming frosh and the RS I'm looking for a wild fall. These kids are damn good and have been playing football since they were about five. Hang in there brothers, we may be looking at something here in the making.

The real problem here is a single injury & u're playing inexperience. more than 1 injury & u're playing true Fr. Luckily, Tech has a knack for getting Fr LBs that start & do very well.
The incoming Frosh really weren't underrated, but perhaps underpulicized. Phillip Wheeler could be the best of the Fr & very well may see the field a lot. He's 2 time Class 4A all-state LB. Very well thought of in the state of Ga.
Nick Moore could also make an impact as he was 2nd team Class 5A in Tex. Equilvalent to the 2nd best MLB in his class in Tex. That's saying a lot. Was on some top 100 in Tx lists.
Kamicheal Hall falls into the same category as Moore with some of the same honors. Will be a fast OLB & hopefully, puts on a little weight.
Kyle Pupello will have to RS.
