Ya think Tulsa harbors ill will toward GT?

A year ago Ga Tech agrees to take DE Anthony Egbuniwe as a transfer. Egbuniwe, from Greenville, SCar, had just finished a promising Frosh season with the the U of Tulsa, earning some backup playing time. Anthony sat out the '07 season & will enter '08 as a RSoph with a shot at some playing time as a Rambling Wreck.
This past late January the Yellow Jackets offer & later sign RB Marcus Wright from San Antonio, Tex. Wright had been committed to the Golden Hurricanes for about 5 months & was, arguably, the the 'Canes most respected recruit. My guess is that in '09 Tulsa does not want to hear anything about Ga Tech or the Yellow Jackets.;)
Should we even mention the Humanitarian Bowl of 2003, GT 52 Tulsa 10? Ouuuuuuuch!

Don't forget that land locked Tulsa is the Golden Hurricances instead of the more appropriate Golden Tornadoes because some school in Atlanta already had the rights to that name.

Maybe they should try harboring some victories against somebody.

Anybody.

No doubt about it..

Tech has it all over Tulsa.

Actually, Tulsa - the city - is pretty nice. I lived there for 4 years...surprisingly cosmopolitan, great place to raise a family. The biggest problem is, if you want to go to the beach or to the mountains, you've got a helluva drive.
