I heard a news guy on 680 today say that Tech has the Dukies "in the Hive" tomorrow. Does that not make GT sound stupid, or what? Why is that "other" board "The Hive"? Stupid.

I'm afraid "the Hive" may just stick for BDS@HGF. I hope not - - we could/should do better.

What if others committed comparable stupidity and...

...the Gators had called their stadium the Pond?
...the AU Tigers had called their stadium the Desert?
...The Crimson Tide played at The Beach?
...the Dawgs played in The Sand Box?

No, but Tech plays at The Hive. At least for now.

I hate it.

Sounds like Norman Arey's at it again! Remember when he tried to change the nick from "YJs" to
"the ramblinwreck"? This too will pass. Personally, if there need be an alternative to BDS@HGF I'd promote simply Grant Field. That's all it ever used to be before the appropriate decision to honor Coach Dodd and there's not that many joints that go by the name of "such and such FIELD" anymore. Kinda classy.
