Zima losing big late to Richmond

Its bad. But all conf have the problem with their lower 1/3 teams. Miss st. Kentucky. Tenn shoulda lost. Lsu loses to wisconsin. I know, wisconsin a good program but lets face it, preseason unranked vs 5 and fournette. Miles is a goner.
 
So, if UVA is sporting a 2 and whatever record when they come to Atlanta in late November, Bronco will have the troops fired up to beat GT? Or, more likely, UVA will have mailed it in by then.

You say it doesn't make sense, but think about it. Every time GT wins, the opposing team's press says it's due to coaching. Look at what's happened to the Coastal in hires the past few years. Richt was hired because he has success against GT. Bronco was hired because he has success against GT. Bud Foster was retained because he had success against GT. Narduzzi was hired because he was a defensive guru who could scheme against GT.

Even when we think we were outcoached, such as in the case this past weekend vs BC, everyone in Boston says it's due to CPJ's coaching. The main thread here on Stingtalk was talking about how BC was outcoached, even though the difference in the game was 3 turnovers and 2 missed field goals.
 
Oh yeah, I'm sure Mark Richt was hired by Miami because he could beat GT. Because the guy they fired was 5-1 against GT.

They hire these guys because they are good coaches, not because they are good coaches against GT. Bronco can coach, period. Richt can coach, period. Foster was a great DC before Paul Johnson got to GT. They have 11 other games to play each season...
