Georgia Tech's Uniforms

Bring back 1990's gold. Dammit! I told myself I wouldn't post in this thread.
 
It is somewhat in vogue now, but I remember when Bud Carson had the "GT" logo put on the jersey sleeves in 1968.

Lots of teams, like the Falcons, do it now. Back then I can't think of anyone that did it.
 
At this point I will be happy as long as they get rid of the "stinger stripes." I've already accepted that they will never go to the one uniform that almost every single GT fan loves.

Yeah you are probably right and we will still be pissed but at least the uni in the blog looks like a good mix of old and new.Hate those stingers and stripes and BLACK socks.Of coures folks know thatso again I am beating my head against the wall.I say use Ross unis,blue or white at home and gold pans combo and be done with it and then on a Thursday night do the Carson unis.Bet all the old farts like me would love to see that.

Agree, but I have to say these look pretty good! GT fans are to Russell as the fishwrapper is to GT! Show no love!

Goodunis,we need something when you are the 13 out of what fifteen teams in the ACC. I remember under Ross we had the best looking unis in hte ACC including FSU.

NO! I like the gold!

Our colors are gold and white. Navy Blue or black is a neutral trim color. I like the Navy Jerseys but it is not our color and I don't think that color should be used as a jersey color.

I like idea of GT or Buzz on the sleeves. Since GT is on the helmets, Buzz on sleeves?

I hate the fancy stripes on the pants and jerseys.

This was debunked a long time ago. Navy Blue has always been a color of GT. the song just doesn't mention it.

+1. Yep. I would love to see the Ross era uniforms again all the way around (home, away, navy, OLD gold, etc)
 
1) Why can't our helmets just look like a big honeycomb?

2) Why can't our helmets be in the shape of cones like the Tech Tower?

3) Why can't we have Georgia Institute of Technology on our jerseys? Georgia Tech is not our official name.

It amazes me that the GTAA can't listen to what the fans want. That uniform is the one thing most GT fans want, but they won't use it. Why?
