Already spending their Big 12 money?

Dabo may be a knucklehead but he has had pretty good success at Clemson.

Great recruiter, cheerleader, sound bite. But as a head coach, the verdict is still out. They seem to be trying to prop him up with highly paid coordinators...

Six of one, half dozen of the other if you ask me:

Tommy Bowden: 72–45 (Overall) 43–32 (ACC) 3-5 (Bowls) Ranked in Final Coaches Poll 4 of 10 years.

Dabo the Clown: 29–19 (Overall) 19–10 (ACC) 1-3 (Bowls) Ranked in Final Coaches Poll 1 of 4 years.

Ehhhh. Winning a weak ACC Atlantic twice counts for something I guess, but so does a 70-33 Orange Bowl loss where your players gave up on the team. His cheerleading sh1t will only go so far.

It's pretty much the same. The reason they won the Atlantic twice under Dabo is because FSU hasn't been in their way like it was for TB. Their records are essentially identical they just happened to be good enough to win their side recently.

This... He hasn't done much better overall than the guy he replaced. The bowl game against WV made our performance against Iowa look good. Doing less with more is quite frankly unacceptable... unless you're Clemson I guess...

Dabo is loved by the Clemson faithful. Especially after that verbal ass-whoopin he laid on Spurrier a while back. I don't see Dabo ever winning the BIG one - he brings the talent but I think he's a little short on Xs and Os.

This is why the ACC sucks.

Mike Leach could walk into the Clemson job and be in the national championship hunt every other year. I ----ing guarantee it.

Unless Stephen Garcia... or some drunkard dressed like him keeps showing up to Clemson games.

And to add to that point. Another reason why the ACC sucks...

Maryland has a female Athletic Director.

Good call on driving Gary Williams away. Oh yeah, and double awesome job on canning the ACC Coach of the Year for Randy Edsall!!!! That beeyotch is an amazing sports leader!

edited**** to admit that I did not know they canned the woman and hired some dude from Army who is equally as incompetent. She was responsble for driving Gary Williams bonkers though.

How funny is this article? http://www.umterps.com/school-bio/md-athdir.html

The first sentence will make you LOL.

in his first year on the job as director of athletics at the university of maryland, anderson hired randy edsall in football and mark turgeon in men's basketball, completing a pair of outstanding head-coaching searches that give the terrapins a head start at success in those two sports.

wtf

Has Dabo beaten South Carolina yet?
