Sorry, I just saw this post. I posted my thoughts in another thread. Here it is:

Most knew it was coming a few weeks ago. He spent extra time there when we played. Dan did everything the right way, the AA and Dr Peterson were in the loop of what was going on for weeks.

While disappointing, I really liked Dan and enjoyed being around him, we will get through this. I believe Dan got us to a good point and a spot where financially we haven't been in a while, also our facility upgrades put us on par with anyone. Dan has done a lot of good to the Institute and he was a joy to work with. I wish him well.

We have a solid team in place to sustain what Dan started. We will hire a great replacement and we have a very worthy interim leading now. Trust that GT will be fine and come out strong. Too many of us have put in too much time and money to let this AA falter.

It's been a rough season for all Tech fans, I hope that you will keep on cheering on these great SA's. I have faith that we will pull through all the adversity that has come over the past few months.

I know Todd and really like him. I don't really want to get into who'd be a good hire at this time but Todd would definitely be someone a lot of people here would get behind.
