A friend of mine told me some of the players at UNC have confidence about the game Saturday.

Coach Fedora was also rumored to have said, "We have developed a game plan, and if we are successful with it, I think we'll have a chance to win."

Another player went so far to say, "When we put on the powder blue, I just can't help but believe we are going to reach the sky."

Bulletin Board this. Tag it. Now. We've got to let all our players know.

They are nearly 10 point favorites, put that on a bulletin board.

Game Plan < Blue Print

We got this!

Tech has won 6 of the last 7, and 12 of the last 14, in their series with UNC. I think the UNC players were confident for most of those games.

I'm pretty sure they were confident the day they held us to Dwyer's TD in Chapel Hill and gave us an old-fashioned whuppin in the process.

Sounds like Clemson numbers... Howd that work out for us

This is one of my favorite threads ever. "Bulletin board" material is probably one of the most overblown concepts in sports.

Apparently teams are supposed to say that they think they're going to lose or else they're being arrogant pricks, and if they don't then the other team is going to try really hard to win (those arrogant pricks!)

Unless we play our best game of the season in all three facets I could see a repeat of the 2008 game result and margin though I doubt they will only score 28 points. Really hope that is not the case, maybe our dual QB option helps on O but this could get ugly for us. At this point I fear that our 2nd losing season out of the last three seems pretty likely

Not only were they confident in those games, but when you get to know and understand the Baby Blue psyche, you realize if you polled UNC players and fans on how many times they have beaten GT in the last 14 tries, their players would guess 10 and their fans 12.

You might have missed some sarcasm. I thought it was obvious; the powder blue comment desperately needed attention and derision regardless of outcome.
