Guys like him and Fred Smith prove you need to have at least one scholly towards the end of recruiting. You never know who might fall through the cracks or go beast mode their senior year.

Can't believe the talent we had in 08. Most of the line is in the NFL or at least had a stint.

The 2008 line is just about the sole reason we were any good that year. We scored only 24.4 points/game that year - 74th in the country! (for comparison, this year we averaged 33.6 ppg).

We held our first seven opponents to 20 points or less. We gave up more than 30 points twice all season, once against uga and once against LSU. In a season where we had some offensive transition issues, that was important, and a big reason we had a 9-3 regular season.

EDIT: And besides Burnett, we didn't have great talent in the secondary. Our LB core was decent, but no true standouts.
