I'm done...

Exactly. We don't make that boneheaded play completely different game. But I thi that was the teams mindset too.

I gave up two years ago. Then I came back for the comedic value.

This, except I gave up last year. 21 year season ticket holder until this season. The problems are a combination of things. We can't fix the coaching issues unless we can fix the way our athletic dept and school work together. They have to accept that athletics means you lower the academic bar considerably. I'm not talking Bama bad, but there has to be some middle ground.

Tax, are you a season ticket holder?

Not this year. Have been for multiple years though. Couldn't work it out this year for a number of reasons. But will be again next year. I still plan on going to a number of the remaining games though.

What, you have to admit half-idiots? BOR... I expected better of you. If you can't pass calculus, you have no place getting a GT degree. Agree?

35 or 42 should be enough to beat Southern and cover the spread. Right or wrong, the D deserves almost all the blame.

I agree, anytime you score 30+ points that is enough to win the game if the defense does its job. Our defense gave up 550+ yards to Georgia Southern; that has nothing whatsoever to do with the Triple Option Offense.

Also agree with this. It will be popular to throw CPJ under the bus; but the truth is he is a better coach than the Institute will allow him to demonstrate (Same was probably true about Gailey the more I think about it). We might have felt different today about the state of the program if we hadn't lost 2 potential difference makers to academics during the off season.

You proud of the 1998, 1999, and 2000 teams? How about 1990? If so, I got news for you. Wake the öööö up.

The offense eh...if the defense makes one stop during that 28 point run then this isn't a problem...we have 42 points...post is dumb

Actualy, the defense stopped the first drive and a dumbass penalty allowed them a first down.

Hey, I took classes with Tony Hollings and Anthony McHenry. I know how things are. Unfortunately, I value the perception that our student athletes are really students too. Sean Bedford? Rocket Scientist. And he played football. If you are so willing to sell your soul, put on a Gurley shirt before the game tonight.

I hope everyone enjoyed GT's last win of 2014. It's a downhill from here. We know exactly what kind of team we have now. A team without a D is toast.

The truth is that his focus on the offense blinds him. This shows up in recruiting. Look at the two deep on backs and you'll see why we have problems on D. We have more than 12 position players committed to what is a running back position and the vast majority are now seniors. The defense was ignored and when the offense sucked there was no solution. The depth on defense is horrible and nobody can fix that. Do we need another DC?

I no longer think highly of PJ as a Power 5 coach, but as a whole everyone else is playing chess and we are playing checkers. We are not even trying to compete at the same level.

So you're saying you're happy with this? You're a loser and part of the problem. This is seriously the first game where I am over it. This has shaded greatly, my perception of where the program is under Paul Johnson.

Nobody cares. If you're done, quit posting and get the öööö out of here.

I agree about depth on the defense. I am not sure about the rest of it, but I am not arguing against it either.

Also, I believe that we have one of the youngest defenses in FBS. Let Roof get his players in before we try and throw him out. I think that everyone is just too over-dramatic here right now because of how GS performed in the second half. I still think that most of our games are winnable. Will we win all of them, probably not, but it's not all doom and gloom either.

The way the I has things set up we'll never have good depth. We didn't have depth under Gailey either. Change coaches, rinse and repeat. You may change the priority and shift the problem; but you'll still have the problem.

The chances of me spending money at a GT game are about 100%. I'm just pissed for a lot of reasons. Probably shouldn't have posted it. I didn't really mean it. It was out of frustration.

Sorry I posted, also out of frustration, before getting this far. I understand your frustration, I really, really do.

I don't think that is correct. It seems we offer tweener a backs late because we cannot fill the spots with the players we need for other positions or lose commits. The bottom line is GT isn't attractive to football players. This needs to be fixed. Firing the HC is fine if the school bends to help. If not, it's a waste of money and pointless.

The depth on D is interesting. We also seem to only move players from o to d if they clearly will not work on O. I think recruiting is on the upswing though.

I mean it's funny to me because GA Southern was driving to tie the best UGA team in decades two years ago to close the half while we were popping champagne. And it ended in completely different fashions. That speaks a lot to depth but also being a winner versus being whatever it is we are. We need some attitude and some mean people. Too many nice guys.
