After todays game I think it's an interesting time to predict our final record

Emotions are pretty high right now after our near death experience today against Georgia Southern.. I'm interested to see what everyone is currently thinking

I predict 9-4 after we lose the ACC championship against FSU.
 
Idk. I just. Offense is super explosive sometimes and non-existent others. Defense hasn't been above "meh". I think we have a chance to win against every team, but just as much of a chance to lose against any team. If we beat VT, then 9-4 sounds doable. Drop that game again and prolly more like 7 wins max. Hard to tell with whole ACC being schizo.

Have to play our asses off next week and get a win. If we do sky is the limit, if we don't it could be as bad as not even making a bowl.

I'm going with Vt, Miami, Duke, UNC, Virginia, NC State.

That means our losses will be Pitt, Clemson, FSU in ACC the championship game and some other team I'd rather not mention.. :P

Sometimes you just have to believe in the weakness of the ACC :)
 
6-6. No change from the start of the season. Offseason was just too bad.
 
We need to go 2-2 in the next two blocks of games. Get 2 out of VPI, the U, Duke and Cheaters. Then, get 2 out of UVA, Pitt, NCSU, and Clemson. Not easy, but doable.
 
8-4 but I think we win and lose some games we don't expect.

6-6 is hard for me to see because it means we would lose 6/9 of remaining games. I think our offense is too good--too many experienced players--for that.

VT is going to embarrass us. Bud's defense owns Paul's offense and their mediocre QB will look like a world beater against Ted Roof's 'defense'.

While Miami doesn't seem particularly well coached, they are going to do what they've done for the past 5 years and win on talent alone.

I like our chances more against Pitt, UNC, Duke, NCSU & UVA. But after watching GT's performance these past 3 weeks, I'm not terribly optimistic we'll get past 6 wins.
 
If we can manage to stop taking a half off every game, I think we could get 9 wins. Keep up these bipolar performances, and it'll probably be more like 6.
 
5 wins.....I dont see this team competing with most of our ACC foes unless the offense can start operating more consistently.
 
7-5, maybe 8-4 (*). We lose to the usual culprits.

I'm actually a little more optimistic after yesterday's game. Sure, our defense is bad, but it's been bad for years. I continue to be impressed with JT. He will win us another game or two that we would otherwise lose without him.
