David Cutcliffe - Really?

Justin and Smelter are going to have career games on Saturday. I'm thinking something like Kansas 2011.

First play: option pass. We fake the triple, JT keeps, fakes the pitch, and then throws an 80 yard TD pass to Smelter.
And that's how we'll get the 7th annual beating of Cutcliffe's Dookies started.

(I'll delete this post in an hour or so)

Was thinking this same thing..but then it hit me that the NEB/MSU and LSU/AUB games were pretty much both in our time slot. I wonder how many actually watched our game.

Coming from a neutral standpoint, I would've watched the other two.

Coming from a TECH fan standpoint, öööö those other two.

We were totally maxed out on recruits at the game. Filled up both the normal section and the overflow section, so it was a big game from a recruiting standpoint even if people didn't watch on TV.

As stated, Allbarn outclassed the corndogs from the coin toss. Snoozeorama.

MSU was the expected team with a comfortable lead pretty quick. Of course it got exciting at the end, but for most of the game it seemed to be routine. Add in Nebraska floundering on O for 3 quarters and we have mediocre television right up until the got their rear in gear at the end.

Our game was closer and an upset of a team everyone loves to hate.

In my mind the ranking of interest is a close contest between two heavyweights, or an upset of a big name team. Usually in that order but not necessarily. As soon as the slugfest hits two TDs or the big name team retakes the lead I get an itchy remote control finger.

After that I watch teams in the ACC if the game is close.

Fascinating. I recall him being high on my list after my research showed he was clearly the brains behind Fulmer. He wouldve done very well here. Very well.

I could be wrong, but I think he was on the short list but he had some sort of health issue and didn't want to make a move, and then he was out at Ole Miss a couple of years later. He's always been a great QB coach.

Of course, now that he's dissed us, he can die a slow painful death, and I hope we put up 70 on 'em.

I like that CPJ response because it makes me confident he will have the team fired up to play Saturday. Send these posers back to obscurity and take a commanding lead in the Coastal race.

CPJ after practice today when asked about Cutcliffe and his remarks about WRs going to NFL in his system

"How many WRs has he put in the NFL.....none....He should worry about his business and not mine."

:bowrofl::bowrofl:

It's CPJ's version of Cut(cliffe) blocking.

I think Cutcliffe is just playing mind games and hopes CPJ will try to pass more because of his remarks instead of running it down their throats.

Cutcliff my be a "great" guy, but not so much of a motivator, unless you're talking about motivating the opposing team. His comment was just to easy to for CPJ.

LOL Cutcliff smack talk.

While I love what he said and all, I almost hate that he struck back to give Duke motivational material. Almost wished we had just let the results on the field do the talking and he could have then addressed it after the game.

It seemed like more of a bitch slap to me. And taking up for his players and his team.

I'll translate what CPJ said for you guys into the more common fan dialect:

"Scoreboard."
