The defense is soooooo much better at doing the "little things" since the UNC game. DB's are light years better at recognition and playing tighter. The tackling has been awesome, the best since CPJ has been here. The number of broken arm tackles seem to be way down. Good job Defensive staff!

Heck yeah! I think we only gave up one kinda big run and no big passes. Was just delicious watching us suffocate their offense.

Yep, if someone told me our offense was only gonna score 15 (or whatever it was) I would've said we lose

Can't say enough about how well the defense has played given the lack of depth and experience this year

Kudos to roof, but also to CPJ. CPJ said he would take more of an interest in the defense and things have improved. We've stopped 10 yard cushions every play.

Honestly I'd say kudos to not just Roof but the entire defensive coaching staff. Everyone on the team tackled better today than I have seen all year.

Great win. I know Watson got knocked out early, but when he was gone, there was blood in the water and we swarmed on them. Great game plan (or change to gameplan) today by the coaching staff. I was harsh on roof early in the year, but I'm glad the defense has come together and we rallied great after the UNC game.

I think this is paying huge dividends. The guys are showing that it is harder for the QB to pass over them than the underneath stuff.

+1 and our corners are making MORE plays, not less. Maybe the coordinators underestimated Milton & White a little at the start of the season.

When was the last time the defense score more TDs than the offense?

This is the best coaching job of his career. I know many opposing QBs have given us some gifts but we've taken advantage of every one.

I haven't watched my recording yet, but I feel like the first pick 6 and the 2nd interception were amazing plays. First one was an incredible read and reaction. The 2nd int certainly speaks for itself. Not a bad throw really.

That was a helluva of a defense today ... Ultimate kudos to CTR ...

First one was a terrible play call (run the QB to one sideline and then throw all the way back to the other) and execution (threw it right to Golden). It was an amazing play to watch but it wasn't anything special on Golden's part. He was just in the right place.

The DJ White interception was a much better athletic play but the ball was under thrown there as well.

Golden had a great read on that play

DJ White pick was basically same play as his pick against VT. Sit on the flat route and retreat to the slot out.
