Roddy Jones On Georgia Game

Yeah it's great that we won in 2008, what an awesome game that was. But I'm tired of us hanging our hats on a win 6 freaking years ago. We still talk about it. We still show the highlight on the video board before every game. Awesome win that will go down in history, but we've got to move on. We've lost the last 5 since then. We need to forget the past, stop basking in a 2008 win, and end this freaking skid we're in. I'm just tired of losing to UGA and only having 2008 to hold on to.

If we win this year, we will show the entire game in pregame next season.

This. That was a GREAT win in 2008. We all should treasure it always....but, I want it to be a great win among many wins rather a great win because it was the only win.
 
2009 is the one that hurts. We were favored and UGAg came out and punched us in the mouth almost as if they had started preparing for the game the minute 2008's game was over.

as far as GaTech vs Mutts, they have pretty much the advantages when it comes to fielding a football team. those that expect we win more than lose are just plain unrealistic.

But 1 in 4 is more where it should be. maybe 1 in 5

Was listening to dawg talk coming back from blue ridge Saturday. Their commentators said UGA spends time every single week year round preparing and practicing for the GT game.
