This is pretty awesome, really surprised to see this come from the same place the problem started.

What exactly have they done besides beat each other up?

boast wins over 2-loss Wisconsin, K State, and Boise State OOC (also Northern Illinois, and West VA). Sucks but true, and pretty good.

Georgia lost to Tech...
who lost to UNC...
who lost to ECU...
who lost to Temple...
who lost to Navy...
who lost to Western Kentucky...
who lost to La Tech...
who lost to Northwestern State...
who lost to Stephen F. Austin...
who lost to Abilene Christian.

Therefore, the Southland Conference > Southeastern Conference.

Andrea probably got a meeting with the Bobs for writing such a truthful article. What's funny is that she wrote something everyone in the nation already knows, so it's not "news". It's more just stating the obvious.

No way in hell Pollack refers to UGA as the SEC's 5th best team in any other scenario other than defending the SEC. IMO UGA is anywhere from the 2nd-4th best team.

Plus, there's nothing "sudden" about it. ACC is 10-8 against P5 teams while SEC is 5-6. Let me say that again: the SEC has literally only beaten 5 teams from other major conferences. All of this pumping of the SEC has been based on beating other teams within the conference.

Let's look at Alabama for a minute - the consensus #1 team in the country and the best team in the SEC. What have they done for that title?

OOC: Beat a 7-5 WVU, 3-9 FAU, 3-9 So. Miss, 7-5 FBS W. Carolina
In Conference: Beat a 6-5 Florida, 6-6 Arkansas, 7-5 TAMU, 6-6 Tennessee, 8-4 LSU, 8-4 Auburn, 10-2 Miss State

People assume those wins are incredibly impressive because "they beat Auburn, Florida, LSU, TAMU, Miss State" without regard to how good those teams actually are - they're just assumed to be good teams.

Miss State isn't much better with OOC wins over So Miss, UAB, So. Alabama, and UT-Martin. Their "impressive" wins are 8-4 LSU, 7-5 TAMU, 5-7 Kentucky, 8-4 Auburn, 6-6 Arkansas, 3-9 Vandy

Bottom Line:

If you assume for a second that LSU, TAMU, Auburn, and Arkansas aren't any more impressive than Miami, FSU, Clemson, and Duke (which is true), GT has a more impressive resume than Alabama or Miss State if we win out.

This will shake out even more in bowl games.

Also lol at Uga being the 5th best sec team. Only 2 sec teams ranked higher. Only other 2 loss team is mizzou and we know what happened there.
