day yesterday when the statement minded Ramblin Wreck took the field in South Bend against the proud tradition of the Golden Domers.

The air was filled with anticipation on both sides of the field. One side, Notre Dame, trying to avoid falling into the preverbial rebuilding year trap. The other, Georgia Tech attempting to overcome the mystique of playing before touchdown Jesus and meeting the expectations of a restless fan base.

All expectations were set aside early in the game when Georgia Tech took their first possession of the game and drove the ball 71 yards for an opening drive score and an early 7-0 lead.

BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!!!!

When the dust had settled and both teams has laid everything on the line on this hot, humid early September day.....the Ramblin Wreck had CRUSHED Notre Dame 31-7!!!!!!!!!!

Quoted to give well-deserved props to MOF2. Very close on the final score prediction and dead on on the "CRUSHED" part.

Hey, didn't instant oatmeal say he would be back on Tuesday? I don't think we heard from him yesterday. :laugher:
