Today was a great day.

The ND fans were awesome. We hung out on campus and chat it up. Everyone was very welcoming and seemed to enjoy up soaking up the heritage.

We walked in with the ND band. That was a great experience.

It was nice to have all the Tech fans together in the stadium and not spread out. It was great to see some folks we haven't seen since last season.

Did anyone notice that the loudest yells by ND fans came on 2 pass interference calls and a punt cover?

We went down to the field level after the game and soaked it up. What a great place. We walked out with the Tech Band.

I crossed off one my 100 things to do before I die. Awesome day- really awesome!

What a great experience !!

Two schools with great heritage and tradition for years.

I'm really glad you got to take part in that because
I felt (& still feel) the same way at BDSGF so I know what you mean.

For me, I'm wanting to attend a game at West Point and one at Navy.

Rome, you need to get up to Annapolis for a game. We got to go a couple of years ago. You have to go to chapel at the Naval Academy the next Sunday.

Funny Story:
We took our girls back to the "children's church" when the sermon started. I asked the two cadets standing at the back if this is where we drop of the kids. The cadet kickly snapped back, "yes sir, this is the staging area sir!"

When I went to pick them up, they were in a library off of John Paul Jones' crypt. We spent 20 minutes talking about the amazing father of the greatest Navy in the history of the world.

You have to love the academies.

I was very impressed that their fans stayed to the end, especially the student body. I would hate to think how BDS would look in the 4th Qtr. if we were losing 33-3.
