Ok guys and gals, let's have it---your serious best guess at what bizarre play/officials call, will happen Sat. Because it has happened for several years now. I don't have to list them, because you know what they were, and almost all were game changers.

Officials will diagnose you with butthurt.

Upon further review, the ruling on the field will be confirmed.

Roughing the kicker without even touching the punter. They go on to score a TD.

We have the ball 4th and 8 about 12 good yards out of FG range, down by 1 with :36 left. PA counter, pass for 22 yrds that hits a wide open Summers right in the hands and he drops... oh wait nvm.

How about we're on their 1 yard line about to score. We line up and before the snap their Free Safety runs up to the ball, picks it up, runs the other way to the end zone and the SEC refs that they bring with them give the leg humpers a TD. Almost like last year.

Phantom roughing the passer.

Bizarre because that would involve an actual pass rush.

FWIW, I think it's a home conference crew now (i.e. ACC). I think it flipped a year or two ago. Not that it instills any more confidence.

More like we line up on the 1, rocket toss to Lynch who easily walks into the endzone, turns around, chest-bumps Skov, ball grabbed from his hands by Leonard Floyd who runs 104 yds for a UGA TD.

I could see this happening. Lynch ruled to never have had possession before entering end zone

We block a 54-yard kick but and it's determined that we touched it on the field allowing UGA to jump on it with a few seconds left and a new set of downs. Review is inconclusive but appears to show we did NOT touch it. They miss the 2nd kick but we breathe on the kicker and he falls over drawing a penalty for running into the kicker. They miss the thrd kick but we are offside. They make the 4th kick from 24 yards out.

They win by one.

UGA throws an incomplete pass to a WR on 4th down with a minute left with us up 4. We get a hands to the face call on a DL to give them a first and goal.

Yes, the refs were SEC last year so presumably they will be ACC this year.

UGAg will dress in Carolina Blue. All calls will go to UGAg's favor

Hoping we get Penn Wagers (if he indeed did come to the ACC). He hates Richt. Would be much nicer than the usual "We're trying so hard to appear impartial that we're helping uga" that GT usually gets from ACC officials. (Removes tinfoil hat.)

Game is tied with 1 minute left. We get a stop at midfield to force a punt. Punter drops the snap and barely gets off a 19 yard punt. We are ecstatic until the punt hits one of our blockers in the back and is recovered by UGA. We stop them again but they make a 45 yard field goal to win.

UGA player rips Justin Thomas's helmet off 3rd and goal at the one, under the pile, after the whistle. Refs award no penalty but force JT to leave the field because of the helmet issue. GT calls a timeout to get him back on the field, but the refs decide that doesn't work and force us to play Matthew Jordan, who fumbles. Dwags win.

Justin Thomas punts on first play of the game, ball hit's the uprights, splits into 2 pieces, 2 georgia players run the halves back to get 2 TD's in the same play.

I can no longer read this thread. I'm getting sweaty and feeling anxious already. Please for the love of your fellow whiskey drinkers, please stop.

Butthurt futures are looking good!

Edit, hey made it too 600+ somehow this season. As dismal as it has been, this has been a productive post season to say the least. Look at me post, please ban!! No seriously, please ban so we can beat the mutts!!

Tech up 21-20, UGA 40 yard line, 1:30 left in the 4th, 4th and 1.

Running triple right, JT keeps, jukes, and then pitches late. Snoddy has poor pitch relationship and gets too far up the field. JT pitches it as he's passing the line of scrimmage and getting hit causing the pitch to hit the ground and roll to Snoddy. A group of UGA players from the bench spill onto the field celebrating the crushing hit on JT. Snoddy starts to pick it up to run, but the ref right next to him cuts between him and the ball to signal incomplete forward pass and then throws a flag. Refs discuss it for awhile while the commentators assume that it's a 15 yard penalty on the UGA bench for being on the field during the play setting Tech up with a 1st and 10 from the 25. Game is essentially over as UGA has no timeouts left so Tech will be in victory formation. Ref turns on the microphone and says the call on the field is an illegal forward pass that was incomplete - 5 yard penalty and loss of down - UGA ball. Commentators lose their mind.

Booth radios in for a review of whether it was an incomplete pass or a pitch. Commentators talk us through the play that shows the ball clearly being pitched backwards regardless of where JT was in relation to the LOS. "So what do we do about the play? Play it over? Can the flag even be picked up? And where was the flag on the UGA bench??" Ref trots back onto the field.

"The call on the field is reversed. The runner was not past the line of scrimmage and lateraled the ball." Tech fans start cheering. "A whistle was blown, but there was a clear recovery by Georgia. First and 10 Georgia."

Announcers lose their mind and run the replay again. They need a second camera angle to see the ref cutting in front of Snoddy followed by a UGA defender walking over to pick up the ball behind him 5 seconds later and then walk out of bounds and hand it to the guy holding all the balls. "Well, the ref cut Snoddy off from the ball, but I suppose that technically is a clear recovery. Wow."

UGA takes over, drives 23 yards on 3 plays to set up a 54 yarder to win. CPJ calls our final timeout. During the timeout the commentators take us back to the bizarre play one more time. They notice that the UGA defender who recovered the fumble wasn't even on the field when the play started. He was part of the group that had jumped out onto the field while celebrating the hit on JT before realizing JT had gotten the pitch off and picked up the ball because he heard the whistle. Replay cuts out as UGA hits the game winning field goal.
