Texas is a shithole of a place. Houston is the godawfulest, humid, armpit of a place on the planet. Dallas is a crowded shithole that gets ice storms all winter, tornados all spring, and is hot as hell all summer. San Antonio is one of the top hipster cities in the nation that is supposed to be "charming". All a tattoo parlor has to worry about being able to tattoo in that state is the outline of Texas, which every Texas redneck has tattooed on his/her arm.

Never been to west Texas. Looks dry and desolate. Kinda like hell.

Spring, Woodland and Conroe North of Houston is quite nice and convenient to all the downtown events/sports/concerts/etc.
 
Houston is awful, but Texas has given us red dirt country music and George Strait. They're alright by me.

Their BBQ ain't BBQ though.
