When will UVA game time be announced?

I memory serves correctly it is usually 12 days (Monday in this case), before the game, unless ESPN steps in and delays it. Am I correct in thinking we should know something tomorrow?

On a related note, what is the procedure to get a ticket to sit in the GT section at UVA?

It has been a year since I have done that last minute, but it used to be that the AA had to turn Tech's alotment back into UVA around ten days prior to the game. If you call the AA they should have tickets until at least Wed. (I doubt it is sold out).

I'm pretty sure ABC gets the waiver (which, I guess is ESPN since they're owned by the same company) but they only get 1 per year. I doubt they'll burn it this early in the year.

We'll know something tomorrow.

Just listed on Ramblingwreck.com

Game time is Noon with ESPN2 providing the coverage.

Oh well, I would rather listen to WD anyway. Too bad I won't get to see it at the same time.

After UVA's game @ UNC --in the battle of the ACC's most overpaid head coaches. By then Virginia will have decided if they still desire to field a football team.

Well, I guess if this is the worst news I read about in the next few weeks, things are going pretty good. We need a few sports bars in Vidalia. Anyone up for a trip to Hooters in Savannah? It's just for the wings.

I've heard that Hooters has great wings.

Do cable companies in Georgia not pick up ESPNU yet? Much of Florida has ESPNU on the digital cable package....it is not just on DirectTV anymore.

Doesn't most of Georgia have Comcast? If so, they're probably not picking it up anytime soon.

Using Northland Cable here in Vidalia. I don't expect to see the U anytime soon.

No one will believe you, but the wings are the best around. My wife and I grabbed some at the Hooters in Rome just before the game last year. My sister is addicted to them - as am I. The atmosphere is rather nice as well.

Same thing we talked about last season --those of us who were switched from Adelphia to Comcast lost ESPNU. I have asked about it several times --but to no avail.

Yeah. Comcast sucks.

When I moved out here I desperately wanted satellite but I ended up in apartment that didn't have a patio facing the right direction. Argh.

This will be a major requirement for my next place.

We had ESPNU before Comcast bought Adelphia. I'm not sure which is worse, having it for a while, or not having it at all.
