Cal just signed a 10 year , 86 million deal with UA. I suspect we end up with UA after the RA deal runs out...but that will be 2018, I think. So I don't think the tweet is accurate.

I keep telling you guys that it won't be UA but instead will be Nike. Nike has already been on campus and had discussions. As of 2 weeks ago, I don't think UA has been. But I've also heard that Russell is getting out of the college uniform business so the change is going to happen and UA could potentially get into the mix at some point. But as of right now, I'd put my $ on Nike.

If so, I wonder if, compared to R, we will lose $. That is why we went to R to start with.

If we went to, especially Nike, I can envision some really absurd looking unis or they would tell us to pound sand. Would anyone have the guts to say to them "we want the $ and a classy uni"?
