things that pop out to me:

- TFr Dedrick Mills at backup BB when we have Allen, Weimerskirch, and Benson there. Mills was an EE, though, so he got some reps in spring.
- MLD in the 2 deep at WR.
- Cooksey not in the 2 deep.
- Whitehead not in the 2-deep (not surprising)

A bit surprising to me that Willis is ahead of Qua. Guessing the effects of Qua's injury are lingering.

Call me an idiot, but I like that front four. Also, how freaking good is Mills?

After seeing him in the spring game I fully expect Christian Campbell to clime the depth chart on defense. Kid had some really nice hits and a good motor.

Looks solid to me. I hope Marcus Marshall has 1500 yards this season playing mostly 1st and 2nd quarter ball.

I didn't follow Spring much at all this year but surprised to see Mitchell as back-up. I remember him looking great at times last year.

Am I remembering incorrectly that Mikell-Lands Davis was a B/Aback? I def. dont remember him being a WR.

Also, we need to hope that Harland Harrell can supplant Messick. Messick is a specimen but he isnt physical at all. He cant get separation and is a bit thin.

Francis Kallon went from too undeveloped to make the field to first string? Did he have that good of a camp or is our D Line in that much trouble?

MLD had his RS pulled before UNC last year because of the injuries. He played AB, but was really good catching the ball out of the backfield. He played WR in the spring game, I'm pretty sure.

He's always had a good physical toolset, if I am to believe the hype. It's not as though he had to gain 30 lbs and shave a half second off his 40 time to get to the first string level. He just needed to learn some techniques and get up to reacting at the speed of the game. He's a redshirt senior now, too, so he's had plenty of time to do it.

MLD doesn't look like a wideout, needs to be an Aback.
No way Alford starts over Mitchell.

We lost a lot on defense (aussie and entire secondary!?) but we might actually be ok on that side of the ball -- barring injuries; we are not deep.

Our offense will no doubt return to historic levels of efficiency and no amount of injuries or dedicated triple-option consultants on opposition payroll can stop us.

I hope Alexander delivers out the punishment like he did in HS

That offensive line and its depth does not look too good to me. I am not sure we have great talent at A-back or at linebacker. I do like the B-backs and the D-Line starters. Secondary lost some long time contributors, but I am hopeful the talent is there with new starters.

What's up with Mitchell not 1st string. Or is this a misprint? Mitchell will be at least 2nd team All ACC this year.
