Jordan Woods

Stud recruit but a true freshman... I'm hoping he wasn't being counted on this year.

He was down the depth chart. Only a handful of true frosh are playing and i dont think any are on the defensive side if the ball.

IMO he was a redshirt all the way.

Well this is shit. How is it that so many of our 4* guys are snakebit?

Agree w/ TaxJacket, probably wasn't going to see the field but was optimistic he'd get some good practiced squad reps throughout the season. Get well soon, Jordan.

The injuries are alarming. They were especially alarming last year. Are there any problems with our strength and conditioning program?

Last year bad. 2014 not many and this offseason hardly anything major. Paul said yesterday this offseason fewest injuries he can remember. They did change conditioning philosophy this year

To what? Did we bring yoga back?

No bigger focus on how we shape the body and train it vs type of training or some trick yoga etc. ie focused more on relative muscle and fat weight vs total weight target and power lift numbers

ok let me restate it. The staff was focused on shaping the body and training aerobically to hit body fat targets vs total weight targets; they tweaked training and lifting methods and backed off some of the old stuff we used to do in drills; trying to target a more athletic build vs weight/bulk build. This is especially true for the lines....

Said like someone that doesn't lift.

Actually, I am only kidding. I think the biggest lesson about just lifting and going old school would be that dumb öööö that was in charge of UGAg's S/C program a few years back simply because he had been in the program forever.

I dont know where you get that we have an alarming amount of injuries from. In fact this year has seen very few.

Aside from having guys with normal camp dings and bruises we lost Woods who wasnt going to play anyways and Griffin got medically DQd but he hasnt played in 2 years anyways. Beyond that nothing long term and if there was a game tomorrow everyone would play.

The only thing alarming is the lack of injuries. Knock on wood.
