don't think we'll go to a bowl this year unless Tenuta just wants to go 0-1 as a HC. We'll be 6-6 or 7-5 adn no one will travel. Maybe we'll go back to San Fran and get killed by UCLA or Cal.
 
one bright side to no bowl... the Gailey zombies can't point to a bowl streak anymore as some wonderful job Gailey is doing...

I still want a bowl though...
 
I'm hoping for a loss to UNC - Surely they wouldn't give even a crap bowl to a team that finishes under .500 in their conference.

A no-bowl season (plus an almost sure-thing loss to Ugag) should be enough to get Chan out the door. I'd take that.
 
I think we will go because they have trouble filling all the bowls every year. Any team that is 6-6 makes it. We should have the guts to say we should not go to one if we are 6-6 but we won't .... hiding behind extra practice for the young guys etc. This will be a real chance for Chan to have a losing season.

I, personally, would like to keep our bowl streak going even if it is a crap bowl .

There's not a bright side to no bowl. It's one more game I get to see Tech play and that's always good.
 
There have been numerous teams that have gone to bowls even with 2-6 ACC records, such as NC State a few years ago. The fact of the matter is if we win one more game, we're going to a bowl.

What a crappy thing to do. Do you care to go ahead and tell Choice you hope he loses to UNC?
 
If is a big word right now even with NC and Duke left on the schedule.
