Next season's QB

It would be hard for me to believe any of the guys now could beat out MJ .Although he is a poor passer,he has a lot of exp.

People will figure out how to stop MJ pretty quick, imo. Load the box and dare him to throw.

PJ will pick the best quarterback, and everyone on StinGTalk will say, at least once during the season, that PJ has lost his mind and doesn't know who our best quarterback is.

Exactly. He better not öööö it up.

Look you dumbass nay sayer, STFU.

It takes thorough vetting of the QB by ST to pick the right guy. After all, CPJ does not always get it right and he is dependent on our help.

For example, we told him to fire Mike Sewak, last year and he did not. So you see the results in 2015.

So I say again, STFU.

noone asked you fatass

I remember after Joe Hamilton was done I thought that Godsey guy was going to suck.

Not sold on Jordan's passes or pitches. He seems a bit one dimensional to me, but see my first sentence above.

Spring Game and Fall Practice should be interesting to see who wins the backup job to Matthew Jordan, because that player will get some playing time and have the opportunity to replace Jordan if he struggles. With all that said, though, I don't think there's any way (barring injury or suspension) Jordan doesn't begin next season as the starter. He's played reasonably well in spot duty, and with more practice reps can hopefully start to develop more of an instinctual feel for when/how to distribute the ball in the 3O rather than his primary instinct to tuck it, stick his foot in the ground, and run downhill to try to smash someone most every play. While he has limitations, I can't imagine Paul Johnson having the same comfort level with any of the other options. And, if we're being honest, Tevin Washington had tons of athletic limitations (far more than Jordan) and was generally excellent running the offense. So, if they can get Jordan to run the offense with the savvy that Tevin did with but more physicality, I'll live with the occasional pass that quacks. IMO, Jordan's style allows Tech to play more ball control and that's better complimentary football because it shortens the game and protects the defense.

What happened in 2016? We fired Sewak?

Coach blaming is the #1 indicator that the one doing the blaming is a dumbass.

Early prediction: Dual QB system with T. Marshall being a change of pace for MJ.

MJ doesn't pitch much because he is making the correct read. Teams are covering the pitchman much like they did with Tevin.

MJ needs to throw better, no doubt.

MJ doesn't pitch much because we weren't running a ton of option plays with him...

We don't really need a qb since Deddrick is going to run 400 yards everygame next year. Just put someone there to snap the ball and give it to him.
