Clemson v. Alabama

Seems like the Big 12 refs let a lot go, but consistently so. Let the guys play.

I'm curious now what the rules are on picks

I know. It seemed like a flaw in the rules that Clemson lost 3 seconds on the PI that put them at the 2

I've been saying this for years. It's such an easy loophole to get rid of, too. If the play "doesn't count" because of a penalty, give the accepting team the option to keep the time elapsed from counting either.

If it looks like you were blocking, it's a pick. If you are obstructed trying to run your route, it isn't. Totally subjective and never called with six seconds left.

After a 5 minute review

Plus the Bama defender dragged him to the ground allowing him to flail and further pick the other guy.

I believe if less than five yd from line of scrimmage and not blocking when the ball is thrown it's legal. My be confusing with the NFL

SECspn talking all about how Bama lost the game. Like they dont want to give any of the credit to Clemson. F this I'm going to bed.

Except for that Notre Dame - FSU game a few years ago.

Bama sure missed Kirby Goff's defensive brilliance in the 4th quarter.

Can't call Dabo a clown anymore. Great job this year, ACC.
We've been over this, and I'm pretty sure we've addressed this exact scenario. It doesn't matter if he wins the next ten national championships, taking the last four after guiding Furman into FBS and into the CFP. Dabo is a clown. It doesn't matter what he does, nothing will change that. He's a phenomenal coach, he beat our asses this year, he just beat The Greatest Football Team Of All-Time for the national title, ripped Colin Cowherd a new Colin Cowherd in the post-game presser and will likely have Clemson playing for the crown again soon.

He is still, and will always be, a clown.
