CPJ post game

I thought the most depressing reality was from TaQ and Nate, both what they said and body language. uga was just too fast. They had several guys flying to the ball. Shedding blocks. Nate said they were essentially unblockable. Taq said no way to run any plays because of their speed. They both said we essentially had no chance. The fuckin bean bags worked.

This is what happens when the team stops believing in the option’s ability to have success. I fear it will be more and more likely as the current generation is certainly one that deflects blame and responsibility. You heard the same things from Vad Lee. Justin Thomas was a rare breed in more ways than just speed. You have to believe in the option with conviction to make it work.

Kirby Smart talked in his post-game presser about how he was frustrated by the loss last year and was determined to prepare the team better for this year — hence the year-long preparations for our offense.

I have horrible recollections of how we all laughed at Dabo after those first few victories over Clemson...

This team stopped believing at Duke. No fire. I think a lot of folks will say it was men against boys out there. Tech was over matched, too much speed, strength and talent. The truth is essentially, these were the same two teams that played a game last year that Georgia Tech matched up pretty well and actually won. You have to believe you can win and you have to have strong team leadership to keep that belief even when things are not going your way. Team leadership just was not there this year.

Go Jackets!

The triple is supposed to counter the athletic advantage.

If you cant run the triple, you are relying on us to beat them man-to-man on a regular basis.

The QB position should be wide open. The only play we should practice is the triple. Whoever runs that best should play.

The Duke game was a mystery to me. We were just coming off of a victory over a top 20 VT team, how did they lose so much in that week? The D-line at Duke looked static and weak and...I don't know. I don't have a description for it that I want to post about 20 year-olds to a public forum. They just got pushed around and beat up, and Duke shouldn't be able to do that. Nobody should be able to do that, it was just sad.

VT was overrated. Look at it this way: VT lost to a team that lost to Tennessee. A UT team that got blown out at home by Vanderbilt. A UT team that for the first time ever didn't win a single SEC game.

That same VT team beat UVA 10-0.

Clemson was overrated. Look at it this way: Clemson lost to a team that lost to Middle Tennessee. A Middle Tennessee team that got blown out at home by Vanderbilt.

Ah, the infinite world of CFB.

Except in my scenario, the team in the middle is us.

the mutts are overrated. They got destroyed by Auburn who lost to LSU who got beat by Troy St.

Troy St. should be in the CFB.

I think if we played Syracuse in the past two weeks we would've lost to them, yes.
absolutely.
Wow. FYI, in the past two weeks... Syracuse lost by 28 to Boston College and lost by 46 to Louisville, and ultimately finished 4-8. Their four wins are over Central Connecticut State, Central Michigan, Pitt and Clemson. A similar not unlike our 2015 season.

But I hear they're very, very talented.
