Watching James Graham highlights

VT is dumb

You know you have a good recruit if by the end of their highlights they've scored like 4 TDs in an NFL stadium

He was the get of this past class for sure. QB is going to be interesting in the years to come. I like all the guys we have coming in and committed. And I will say regarding Graham, when we have a 4 star at QB, we tend to be good.

I'd say this highlights are on par with Jonathan Dwyer's from high school. Great get.
 
Not to diminish his skills in any way, but he had some pretty good blocking going on. Showed good maturity/judgement in using and following the blocking.

I'd say we're a lock for the playoffs in '21.
 
I really just want someone besides Marshall... I am a big fan of Lucas Johnson. I just feel like we know Marshall's Ceiling and if some one beats him out it just means we will have a brighter future at QB...Also still sorta ticked of at him attending that UGA game last year

I expect Lucas Johnson to see action in mop up duty against Alcorn St and in any game that is a blowout. I think CPJ is going to stick with the senior, though, unless Marshall just forces his hand with bad play. As much as I'd like to see what Lucas can do, I don't really want TaQuon to struggle because that likely means we're having a bad year.

Graham is very likely to redshirt this year. The following year, I'd expect to see RS Jr. Lucas compete with RS freshman Graham for the starting job, and then we got the 2019 recruits Yates and Knight. We look to be pretty stacked at QB for the years ahead, but I think it's going to be Marshall or bust this year.

Edit: Come to think of it, with the new redshirt rules, maybe we could get a look at Graham at some point this year, after all.
 
Graham's really gonna be hamstrung taking all his snaps under center. Really negates his height advantage plus all of his damage was done in the 'gun. Maybe CPJ will throw some shotgun formations in there for him. Ah, who am I kidding?
 
I was pissed Lucas Johnson only got into the UGAg game at QB for one ööööing play, the last play of the game.
