I love the fact that it's a pro golfer, rather then one of the sports where SEC teams contribute felons.

I also love the fact that the AJC makes damn sure to mention that within the first three sentences. Tell me again why any of us read that rag?
 
Wakeup call. I always aimed for the carts picking up the balls. Glad I never hit one, although I guess that ball boys aren't on the endangered species list.
 
He did a really stupid thing for a PGA public figure. The AJC in my opinion just printed the facts. Since he starred at Tech, it was appropriate to say he graduated from Tech. The AJC is a UGA tool but this was OK, Trip deserves the flak.

eh, with all the fervor with Vick and dog fighting he's going to get railroaded on this. Was it good what he did? No, but I doubt he thought he was going to kill it, just hit it with a ball and make it move. Bad descision, but we've all made them, hopefully he doesnt have to serve time for a moment of poor thought, but a fine is reasonable.
 
The stupid sound man said that pro golfers put the ball in the hole from 100s of yards away. Yeah, maybe once a year.:ugh:
