Repost. Also, #2 is probably too high. Behind BC and Army most likely.

You took a break from talking about our chances of winning the coastal to tout the qualifications of bohannon. I'll ask again: have you ever even seen a KSU game?
Yes, I watched them play this year because I was curious to see how similar/different their offense looks. Same reason I've watched Army and Navy. FWIW, the offense is similar but they do things a little different and run some plays/formations that we don't, just like Army and Navy.

I don't get your point, though. Sure, KSU's competition is awful. You'd be hard-pressed to convince me that KSU has much more talent themselves, but even if I grant you that, 51 ppg is 51 ppg. That is #1 in FCS and would be #2 in FBS behind Alabama (54 ppg) who many are saying is the best offense of all time.

Are you that butthurt that someone could find hope in this near-trainwreck of a season we're having and point out positive things that former GT assistant coaches are doing?

1) No they aren't ranked, and no they aren't running anything better than us.

2) Their offense is really good this year, just like ours. Monken is doing a damn good job outscoring teams since their defense will never have the athletes to compete even with G5 teams. I would absolutely want to interview him when CPJ leaves.

3) FWIW, Kennesaw State (coached by Brian Bohannon) is 7-1 and ranked #2 in the FCS. They are averaging 51 ööööing points per game against FCS competition.

The CPJ tree (especially former GT coaches) is really thriving right now, despite haters' efforts to claim that it's past its prime. It's pretty clear that it isn't "figured out" just like it wasn't "figured out" back in 2008 when UNC found the blueprint.
Tell me why no big time program is using this offense if it is so good.

I didn't say the offense is "so good". I think it's a good fit for us because it allows us to be different, but ultimately the offense is only as good as the coach. I'm saying that Paul Johnson is a great offensive coach, so it's no surprise that people who learned from him are having a lot of success.

We haven’t played defense in 10 years. Offense is not the problem.

Some say the offense contributes to a poor defense. Some say our coach is a one trick pony (overall good enough offense, terrible special teams, terrible defense).

STFU. It is the triple option we want to purge, more than CPJ.
STFU. 40+ QB Keepers is offensive greatness. Not even Clemson can stop that! As they will find out when we meet 'em in the ACC-CG!

Like every single offense in the history of football, our system works well if we have the right players for it.

I remember when CAG's defense was blamed on the option

We were also 3-7 the previous 10 years before CPJ. What exactly are you trying to prove?
That's the hallmark of IIWII Football: Putting a 30% success rate onto a goddamned pedestal.

It should be higher. The losses in 2009, 13, and even 15 were all dismal.
