Has anyone looked on some Miami forums? They are calling for St. Richts job already. I saw at least one thread on every forum. What is it, year 3??
 
It’s a tough life for that fanbase. Their success/brand was built on the back of rampant cheating. They somehow escaped punishment of any kind, but now they at least have to be more careful about it. And you see what that program is without players getting hookers on yachts.
 
They want Butch Davis back. They have a "Bring back Butch" thread stickied on one of their forms.
 
3 game losing streak, mainly due to offense which is mainly due to QB play... Richt was supposed to make Miami QB University.

Virginia L 13-16
Boston College L 14-27
Duke L 20-12

So, boo Richt, yay Diaz, if you're a Miami fan.

*It is my perception that we have a tendency to make mediocre QBs look great and end losing streaks for other teams. I really hope that we learn some killer instincts and shut them down on Saturday.

Agreed. We’re very good at giving mediocre QBs their “career day”. We really need to win this weekend.
 
Just saw their defense is #2 in the country in total D. Crazy how terrible their offense is. Clemson seems to be the only team in the conference with a QB who can actually throw. And they only have the 1.

Basically 4 tds scored between them and Virginia. Probably a lot of 3-5 play series. So hopefully, instead of swapping punts with us, we drive for 4-7 mins, they get a 120 second break. I’d like to think it becomes emotionally draining at that point. Sounds good in my head anyways.

Yep. If we can move the ball consistently it will be a LONG day for them.

Well the actual problem is their main financier is in jail and there was no replacement. If they had a new guy, it's not like you have to even hide the fact you pay recruits.
 
Looks like RS Freshman QB, N'Kosi Perry, is getting the start against us. He's from Ocala, Florida, and has played in 7 games, but didn't play at BC, so this might be the coldest weather he's ever played a game in. Rosier played against BC in some chilly weather recently and was 19/36 for 150 yds (4.2 ave) with 1 TD and 2 INTs (QB rating 39.1). A noisy BDS with temps in the 40s will be a big challenge for a rookie QB. We need to make some stops and get some pressure. Just hope we can control the clock and limit their possessions.

My guess:

They will score 17+ and this will be a one possession game, win or lose.
