Makes several back handed statements like "I haven't recruited for 11 years... that's the party line, right? I don't know how we have won any games." Then mentions how he hasn't seen Geoff much. Says "he must be out recruiting" and smirks.

I'm sure he feels disrespected with Tech throwing out the option, but he should've seen that coming. I love the guy, but he should be proud that the team he's built for the last 11 years is not skipping a beat and is being handed off to a capable coach.

lol. Everyone is trashing his players, his offensive system and saying how smart Tech is to modernize and move on. Saying the kid he’s worked with have no talent, etc. giving the new coach 7 years for the monumental task of rebuilding a year in year out contender to make the ACC Championship game. You’re right he should just take it lying down.

In the grand scheme of things, W’s and L’s, CPJ has a lot to be proud of. There have been some ups and downs, but outside of the Holy Trinity of GT head football coaches, he’s been as successful as any other coach.
 
He had a really good run at Tech. Graduated players, beat the Dwags 3 times, went to 2 Orange Bowls, had a Top 25 offense most years, but he wasn't perfect. Sorry, CPJ, your recruiting was pedestrian, and the program was a graveyard for Defensive Coordinators. Try to wish the next guy well.
 
Damn, guy makes a joke and everyone gets pussy hurt. Yeah, CGC is out recruiting. Everyone is saying CPJ didn’t recruit.

CGC knows he has a talented enough team to make a bowl if he coaches the right way. But maybe it’s better to miss a bowl and install a system that will take 2 years to build. I trust CGC will make the right decision.
 
Gosh this is no big deal. He cracked a joke and kinda made his point that he gets beat up for his recruiting. Which is just avg at best. Paul needs to realize he can not be good at things too. No one is always the best at everything.

With that said he isnt butthurt and it was no biggy. Goeff has to close a class with signing day around the corner and worry about moving. I wouldn’t expect him to be there immediately after he was hired. Heck even with paul was hired it took him over a week to get to tech and its not like he was an active bowl practice goer.

So eh. Not much to see here

I watched the presser. It wasn't that bad. I think he was using the comedic device of call back at the end - everybody said he didn't recruit so when he's asked where the new guy is, oh, he's out recruiting.

We tried a couple of times to get PJ to be our speaker at our Hall of Fame banquet this time of year but he was always out making school and in-home visits.
