We would be fired in the first week when our consensus interview questions for new faculty require them to submit pictures of their mother and asks about her dating habits and likes/dislikes.
It isn't harassment if it is their mom.

So CPJ & Peterson retire, for all purposes, at the same time. But Peterson still wants to teach / research at GT? Bizarre.

This really seems to have a hint of Big Money Folks talking. I hope TStan had some impetus in this.

Next, the HillNerds need to be made to realize they can not benefit from the advantages a strong GTAA brings to GT, while at the same time patting them on the back with a butcher knife.

And Peterson's credit cards need to have a "hold" placed on them. This guy was forced out by big $, an ethics committee, or by the Law. JMO

If you are expecting the new president to prioritize the athletic department then I think you have your priorities out of whack. While I'd love to have a great athletic program, the reputation of the football team is not what helped me (or probably any of you) get a job and succeed at life. Those MIT grads sure seem to do OK without a great athletic program.
Georgia Tech is not MIT. In addition to its great academic reputation, it has a long, rich history of having successful athletics at the highest level. The Institute needs a President that will understand and attempt to grow and improve all aspects of what Georgia Tech has been historically, not worry about what MIT is.

I’d rather have a good football team

Noooo. Stansbury will help make the deck is stacked in CGC hands with the new Pres.
He has no influence on that decision. The BOR chooses the new prez. Don't hold your breath for one that gives 2 flips about athletics.
