Stidham declared for the draft and isn't coming back. They were hoping to get Kelly Bryant but he went to Missouri. They have 3 QBs on scholarship but they also signed a 4 star dual-threat QB named Bo Nix. Yeah...the son of Patrick Nix.
 
At least we won't have to hear this year how the other team has spent a day a week preparing for us - i got tired of hearing that one.

Correct. Patrick is head coach at Pinson Valley High School. They just won a state championship with his son playing QB, then Bo committed to play at his father's alma mater.

Supposedly, Patrick has a younger son who also plays QB and is getting a fair bit of attention himself.

Good for the Nix family. I always felt bad for the guy.
 
Think we'd have a chance at the younger son considering how much the fanbase has trashed his dad? Assuming he is equivalent or better to the older brother of course.

He left us for Miami. Regardless of the trashing, Nix left on his own accord

I see them getting Ls against the Aggies, the Gators and Auburn. Tennessee still has a long way to go.
I am hopeful and optimistic about the last Saturday in November. Time to end the damn home drought.

GT has not had an OC since 2001.

CPJ was honest about it.

CCG was dishonest about it. Nix was no more our OC than I Perfection Harris was.
 
My parents are talking about going to Athens for the A&M game (they are both Ags) and want me to go with them. I told them I really don't want to go b/c I hate that cesspool and going there for a game...I might just end up losing my mind. (Last time I was there was GT '08)

Its a fun place to go if you win and are big enough to not get ööööed with.
