Clemson knew what they were doing when they gave it to him.
Even if you give them the benefit of the doubt and say the steroids were truly accidental, that still leaves the money. Tough to explain that away as accidental.

Same goes for the hookers Clemson gave its players. They didn’t just fall out of the sky

Going to get funky if schools get in NCAA trouble for giving players supplements approved by NCAA.

The trainers know SARMs are banned and illegal, and the school typically has an agreement in place with a trusted supplement provider. I see one of four scenarios:

Supplement provider’s contractor included Ostarine in a batch. Seems unlikely but quality control in supplements is spotty. Still, the most reputable names do a decent job.

A trainer went rogue and did it intentionally or unintentionally. Shouldn’t happen but I could see how it might.

The players went rogue and bought something they shouldn’t have without realizing what they were getting into. I think that’s most likely.

Players intentionally bought an illegal supplement. Oh no baby, what is you doin?

You mean the ones that only Clemson managed to get multiple players testing positive after use? What are the odds? Dabo, give us the odds

Lot of folks on here willing to look the other way to one of our biggest rivals cheating their way to a championship by paying players and giving them hookers. And steroids.

I don't like cheaters any more than anyone else, but it's not like it's been that close the past few years with them. They certainly didn't need steroids to beat us. Maybe they needed them to beat Bama... which somehow doesn't get me quite as excited.

What's really going on is that Dabo has built up a lot of goodwill. He treats players, coaches, fans, even opponents, pretty well. I'm not going to assume this was something intentionally done by the adults in charge until I see evidence of it.

They did need steroids to beat us, and it’s unamerican to say innocent until proven guilty. I won’t rest until their stadium is torn down.

Do you mean schools should get in trouble IF they follow NCAA guidelines and rules?

That is a big assumption there Tex. I doubt Clemson is keeping records on the steroids they are giving their athletes. Part of breaking the rules is not following NCAA guidelines

DRad gonna DRad
It is amazing that we have only had two good AD's since 1950 (Homer Rice and TS). All of the others were not suited for the job (Dodd), mediocre (Weaver), focused on career self advancement (DRad) or grossly incompetent (Braine and Bobinski). It is depressing to realize how much damage Braine and Bobinski did to our basketball program.
