GT Pro Day

I guess TQM is shifty more so than fast, but that surprises me too. Looks like Qua did pretty well but I dunno what position he would play. Will Bryan has some potential, but was apparently in the doghouse with the old staff. Sucks that ASA couldn't complete the drills. He is the one most likely to sneak into the draft.

If no one gets drafted, that would be 2 years straight. I need to go back and look at the recruiting rankings for those classes.

Let’s just say that Georgia Tech was very embarrassed about the O’Leary ordeal.
And the recruiting needle went WAY over to The Hill’s way of doing business for the past decade.
CPJ could do more with less.
But the needle is flipping again.
CGC will do more than CPJ did—-with more talent.

Alexander could possibly make it on a team needing a fullback.

Wasn't the O'Leary ordeal the result of incompetent/negligent academic advising more than anything else?

No GT players will be drafted. As good as he was, this is exactly why Paul Johnson is no longer the head football coach.

If no GT players are drafted this year, it would be the first time in back to back years that has happened since the 1941 and 1942 seasons. If it wasn't for Butker, we would possibly be looking at a 3 year stretch. Gotsis and DJ White were the last non-kickers we had drafted, in 2016. Our last draftees on offense went in the 2015 draft (Smelter, Waller, Mason). Looking at this list, we just didn't reload after that 2014 season.

I was really curious what kind of times Lynch would put down. Wonder why he didn't run (or why they didn't report it).

They only reported the top 3 or 4 performers in each category, it appears.

Yeah, saw that after I commented. If that's the case, he must have lost a step over the past couple years. I always attributed his production fall-off to TQM not distributing the ball as well as JT5, but maybe that was only part of the equation. I have trouble believing that 2016 Lynch couldn't top a 4.61 (let alone a 4.7).

He has already competed a regional combine I believe, and has invites to work out for individual teams as well. He will be drafted. He's got an NFL body.

Agree he has the measurables. The only things he doesn't have are the stats and the film, at least not enough of it. Would have loved to see what he could have done on a productive defense.
