Yeah, I honestly didn't expect him to get one until next year or maybe even his senior year. That is how a lot of coaches would have done it. This also means there is more attrition coming, maybe even more than CGC expected, if he feels comfortable making this move right now.

Based on what we publicly know, yeah, we are back at plus 3. I suspect CGC knows who is going at this point, though, just a matter of when they are announced.

But it also sends a message to players on the fringe of the depth chart - move up or move out. Can't say I'm comfortable with this degree of ruthlessness in persuading some guys their best interests lay elsewhere, but it seems to be the norm in big time college sports now. The SAs are treated like employees.

most of these guys want to PLAY football, not just PRACTICE football. If they want to play, they can do it somewhere else. We'll see if playing time or a GT degree seems more important to them.

KQ not knowing anything about Paul leaving was a bad look but he and his team have more info about the program and recruiting in a 10 minute browse than every other GT site on the internet combined. Yes, including StingTalk.
