Roster Heights/Weights Updated on RR.com

I think Yondjouen is going to be one of the more pleasant surprises on the DL this fall.

Our punter is up to 250lbs Maybe he is also working at DE for cross training.

How is it possible we have OL who are upper classmen over 6 foot tall and over 300 lbs?? I thought the previous regime only recruited undersized linemen, dwarfs, elves, and such; who just aren't big enough to compete at this level. Did the juice make them grow bigger and taller?

And yes, obvious troll is obvious.

Gainz.

Tobias Oliver gained 28 lbs and is 210 now!

Most of our OL gained between 10 and 15.
Aeromech's point is well taken. We were already recruiting bigger and taller on the OL. Question will be whether they can get the technique right, but they wont be that undersized.

They must eat better than the Brittain meal plan circa 1980.

They had some BAD fried chicken. I lost so much weight my parents thought I was sick after my first quarter. I need to go back!

The convention now seems to be rounding to the nearest 5 lbs.

Where's the beef? Here apparently.

Zach Quinney - 280
Jared Southers - 315

OP needs to get in the weight room. Need you at 185 by game 1.

The biggest hurdle for the OL will be the difference between 6’2 and 6’3 vs 6’5 or 6’6. We’re gonna need to be longer to make pass protection easier.

We’re gonna have to wait that out, obvi.

I agree. I just spoke with Coach Caralla and OP is hereby ordered to report to Coach LC at 4:45 AM at the bottom step of the West Stands every morning until such time as that ridiculously low BMI is raised to a level on par with Clemson and Alabama.

We are not getting off to a bad start. Period.

The projected Oline is currently from left to right:

6’6
6’3
6’4
6’5
6’5

We just need to be nasty and extremely technically sound

I hope Braun left the manual for "How to be a Rolling Ball of Butcher Knives" for the other linemen. Sometimes its not about height/width as much as the "Hello America, I'm making pancakes with defensive linemen" factor. Weight is no substitute for nasty.

Why do you believe 285 pound Braun was a good pass blocking OL?

Because a DL lying flat on his back is no threat to our quarterback?
Did he do a lot of that in our passing game? Our OL looked like a sieve on those. I don't recall Braun's assignment being flattened.

Our old regime micro managed and did running drills x3 a week and sometimes x4. Too much. I added ~25lbs and +100 on my squat and bench levels after leaving.

He has to bring six allaway dogs, an order of rings, and a jumbo FO.

CGC definitely micro manages - all good coaches do. Players have to take pictures of their food and send it to accountability partners (players and coaches) to keep their diets on track.

I can see why CPJ would have his lineman running so much given that his offense was so run-heavy and the OL was required to get to the second level so often. I can also see why that would create undersized OL, and why it was so easy for you to put weight on after you left.
