If you aren’t a B average at Duke it usually means you dropped out. It’s very hard to get a grade lower than that and still be in school. This from someone who worked there for 12 years, has a masters from there and who’s brother has 2 degrees.

Grade inflation is really out of control at private schools. The hardest part is just getting in and affording the school.

Academic honor rolls crossing self-policing universities are silly. UNC accidentally gave out minor degrees to people loading up on the free A's for goodness' sake.

Let's base it on standardized testing and see what happens. There's a reason Tech students have a low GPA but a high chance of being millionaires.

Yeah I’m not gonna read through the article, but if it’s counting all sports we have a LOT fewer athletes than just about every other ACC school.

Saw an article on grade inflation and a Duke prof did a study on graduating with honors at Duke and other “elite” schools and he said wtte that a 4.0 still means something but a 3.7 is a run of the mill student at those schools.
