we just make a bowl or actually succeed and actually make a major bowl?

I think personally we are going to have a hell of a season and going to shock a lot of pundits.. this staff and players seem to be hungry especially when everybody is saying we are going to suck.

Gosh, I can’t wait until toe meets leather!

Certainly possible. If Chimedza plays as like he was rated coming out of HS and Clayton is eligible and provides a reliable pass rush we could have a really good defense. If neither of those happen he could have a really bad defense.

If a QB emerges and our option principles translate to the new offense we could be decent. If the OL can’t pass block and the QBs struggle then we could be horrible on O.

I have a hard time seeing our ST being anything but really good, barring injuries. Which is still an X-Factor that seems to be overlooked by a lot of prognosticators.

Lot of question marks. That probably won’t be answered right away. I’m looking to Week 6 against UNC as the benchmark for how the rest of the season will go. Hopefully we’re 2-2 or better by then.

I only think we're going to do better than people expect (which is a pretty low bar). I don't think it's nuts to suggest we finish at 6-6, but I'm assuming a win over Citadel wouldn't count, right? So that would have us just shy of a bowl. I can see that happening.

FCS wins can count one per season.

Yes, we will make a major bowl, in the sense that they will create a new bowl game for us, where we will annually destroy the "winner" of the "national championship" "game". Other NFL teams will take notice and want in on the action, but we will destroy them in the regular season after Arthur Blank disbands the falcons and hands his league slot to CGC as a result of our historic dominance this season. We will convert Mercedes Benz stadium into the world's largest restaurant by never allowing anyone to play there ever again and replacing all of the concessions with competing Waffle Houses. Competition is king, after all.

I believe we will surprise the pundits and could see a 6+ win season and a bowl this year. We should be strong at the skill positions, and the whole team will have a chip on their shoulder thanks to the pundits. Paired with improved strength and conditioning, teams won’t want to play us. If line play is solid, we could have a darn good team by then end of the year once everyone is settled into the new schemes.

Rookie mistake, liver. Rookie mistake.
Liver not important. If it were an important organ it would have better public relations, like heart, lungs, prostate, and things that go erectile. Anything that does not like you drinking, like a complaining wife or liver, is just not worth having.

What is important is schooling Clemson on 8/29. They think they can just rooooll their helmets onto the field, and will be surprised when we smack them in the mouth.

I’m keeping my expectations in check for now. After two or three games, we’ll know what the rest of the season holds. Good or bad I’m all in.

I would take 6-6 right now. Not saying we can't better that, but a whole lot of good things would have to fall our way. Six and Six in his first year, and then CGC goes on to complete his entire tenure without a losing season.

I think we will be improved on D. Maybe by quite a bit. Not worried about special teams.

On offense is where I have concerns. Not that concerned with the talent level. I'm holding my breath about our play calling.

I'm an old guy that hasn't put on a football uniform since the last time Hillary got laid, but this is pissing me off. They really think we have Bill Lewis standing on the sidelines. If Collins is not a complete retard, then he's thinking like me (not thinking like me is my definition of 'retard'). Run the damn ball on these assholes. No way are they going to be prepared for us just lining up and death marching out of the RPO. Since most have already written off the Clempson game, just make damn sure pretty boy is on his ass every play. If they get 15 yds each time, so what. That's less than what they are going to get if we let him pass. Besides Zeno's Paradox kicks in at some point. I'm past the point of worrying about winning; I just want to see the other team sprinting to the bus to get off the field.
