A-T Fund Breaks Single Year Record

Doing drives with swag got me at least more than normal (the 404 hat is pretty sweet).

Giving for facilities, spurred by Athletics Initiative 2020, accounted for $32.3 million of the $53.5 million raised, while gifts for current operations topped $15 million and commitments to endowed scholarships neared $6 million. Even if the $32.3 million raised for facilities weren’t included in the tally, the remaining $21.2 million raised in FY 2019 would rank as the 12th-most successful year in A-T Fund history.

My translation: They've been shaking some big money guys for the new Edge construction and the excitement around the program is loosening up wallets.

The previous record was set back in 2000 at 47M. Coming off three wins in a row vs UGA and staring down stadium expansion. Agreed that it's definitely all football.

They also started requiring mandatory AT donations for more season ticket sections this year.
